I highly recommend Janaya for anyone contemplating having a birth photographer.
Last month my husband & I had our 6th baby. With all the others, I either didn't have any photos or very minimal & with everything that goes on, memories fade quickly.
I was skeptical at first because I was unsure how I would feel in the moment having someone in the room & also whether or not someone would make it in time.
A few months prior, I met up with Janaya & she was such a lovely person with a very warm presence. I booked on the spot as my 2 biggest fears lifted. Steele came at 36.5 so was unexpected, Janaya arrived pretty quickly after I explained what was going on & I barely noticed her moving around the room & taking pictures. I had my 1st hard labour & until I saw the photos, I mainly only remember the bad parts.
I'm so glad I chose Janaya & ecstatic with our photos. Bits & pieces of the good & the emotional memories come back to me when I see different photos. Thank you so much x

I 100% recommend Janaya Lea Photography and Birth Stories
She photographed my birth of my daughter, she always kept in contact with my whole pregnancy to just keep checking in up until 41+5, I planned on having a water birth at Gosford but even when things where tough and changed into an emergency c section she was still the biggest help and supported my family, I hardly noticed she was even in the room, they do allow them in the birthing suite just talk to your midwife about it. I don’t regret having one, if she wasn’t there I don’t think I would have been as confident as I was. She also photographed my daughter when she was a newborn
