Many people don't know Professional Birth Photography is an option. Birth Photography is about telling a story. Birth Photography is about documenting the anticipation of before your baby is born, that moment when you look at your baby for the first time, that moment you partner sees there baby for the first time, the moment your partner looks at you with pride and admiration, that moment you hold your baby in your arms, hear them cry for the first time, Feed your baby for the first time.

I didn't get a birth photographer to be honest I didn't even know it was a thing for my first two births. For my third looking back I wish I had hired a birth photographer to capture my birth.

Hiring a Birth Photographer is a very personal decision. 

A birth story aims to tell your story on the day of your babies birth. As a professional birth photographer I will capture your birth story and you will always be able to look back. You will be able to remember the story and share it the day you welcomed your child into the family with your child. What's better than the day you first meet your baby?      

These images don't need to be shared with the public they can be tucked away for your precious memories. Looking back at these images allow us to have those feelings come rushing back. As a professional Birth Photographer I know how to objectively capture your story without interfering in it, I know where to position myself without getting in the way. I know how to capture these images in a tasteful way. I know how to capture images in low light and ensure you get high quality images.

By hiring a Birth Photographer you don't use your support people who you need supporting you, they may also not know how to shoot  in low light and would be left out of the story and even miss parts of the story and some of the details that I know to capture for you.
